Raleigh, NC (October 20, 2018) – Friday evening’s rush hour along Interstate 40 saw a collision between two cars on.

The two westbound lanes on Lake Wheeler Road were closed temporarily as wreckers removed the disabled vehicles from the roadway. Authorities on the scene were able to reopen the lanes shortly after 6:00 PM. Injuries were sustained by at least one party involved in the crash.

There is no word yet on the condition of those involved nor have any names been released as the investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
