Richmond County, GA (November 10, 2018) – Yesterday, November 9, an accident took place on the Bobby Jones Expressway in Richmond County around 6:06 p.m.

The accident took place in the area of Exit 7 and caused significant delays for westbound traffic. Police and emergency responders came to the area of Peach Orchard Road.

Police reported that two vehicles were involved in the accident. An ambulance was called to the scene to give aid to injured parties. At this time, we do not know the extent of the injuries.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
