Ridgeville, SC (November 17, 2018) – In Ridgeville, a multi-vehicle accident took place on Highway 78 in the area of Water Wheel Road that closed the roadway in both directions.
The collision took place between a log truck and dump truck and led to a variety of different injuries.
The Dorchester EMS was called to the scene, where they transported two parties with serious injuries to an area hospital. Both are expected to recover.
The road was closed down for approximately 2 hours. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
