Robeson County, NC (November 7, 2018) – In Robeson County, two people lost their lives following a car accident in Shannon on Tuesday night, November 6. The accident took place on Russell Road off of Rennert Road.
Police said that, at the time of the accident, two vehicles collided and then one of the vehicles went off the roadway and struck a house. Sadly, two people lost their lives in this terrible crash. Police also reported that two people in the home were hurt. At this time, their specific conditions are unknown.
Officials say that they don’t know if a crime led to the accident. At this time, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office and N.C. Highway Patrol are working together in this investigation.
The victim’s names have not yet been released.
