Rock Hill, SC (October 27, 2018) – In Rock Hill, a main highway was blocked following a fatal car accident on Friday, October 26 in the afternoon hours around 5 p.m. Police quickly arrived at the scene to start their investigation.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that the accident took place at Heckle Boulevard in the area of the local intersection. The road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident and one of them had extensive damages. An individual in the vehicle with the worst damages was put on a stretcher by emergency crews. One party was reported as losing their life.
Many other accidents took place last night around the area due to alleged weather conditions. Police investigate at this time.
