Rocky Mount, NC (November 7, 2018) – A fiery tractor-trailer crash took place in Rocky Mount that led to the driver being injured this morning, November 7. The accident happened on Interstate 95.
The multi-vehicle crash happened early this morning around 5 a.m. near Exit 127 on I-95. It’s reported that two vehicles collided with each other, which was when the tractor-trailer struck a guardrail and overturned. This caused the vehicle to explode into fire.
Officials are still taking a closer look at what caused the accident to occur. They say that the truck driver is the only one that was injured in this accident and he is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries. Thankfully, no one else was hurt in the violent crash.
