Rome, GA (October 15, 2018) – Around 5 p.m. today, traffic was slowed down for a pedestrian accident that happened in Rome involving one vehicle and a bicyclist. Police immediately responded.

The vehicle struck the bicyclist for reasons that are not known, and emergency responders quickly came to the scene to assess exactly what happened. They reported that there were injuries to the pedestrian but he is expected to be okay.

One lane of northbound traffic was impacted by the accident. At this time, investigators are still taking a closer look at the accident.
