Rowan County, NC (November 24, 2018) – According to police, a drunk driving accident took place on November 24. The car accident took the life of one party and caused multiple injuries. The accident occurred on Interstate 85 in Rowan County.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, though we do not yet know how many people were involved or their names and conditions. Multiple people were taken to the hospital by emergency responders and one person lost their life. Two medical helicopters were called to the scene to aid.
Police say that a drunk driver struck multiple vehicles, causing a rear-end pileup accident. The driver who caused the accident was believed to be under the influence at the time. Police continue their investigation into the matter.
