Rowan County, NC (December 17, 2018) – Last night in Rowan County, one person was killed and others lost their lives in a fatal car crash that happened four miles west of Salisbury.

The accident took place in the 3000 block of Mooresville Road and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol was called to the scene. Highway 150 was closed in both directions late Sunday night.

One person was confirmed dead and multiple people were taken to the hospital with injuries. The person has not yet been identified and police have not released information on what caused the accident.

Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
