Rowan County, NC (December 9, 2018) – With inclement weather, several car accidents were reported on Interstate 85 in Rowan County that led to injuries in multiple people.
Officials confirmed that accidents started to occur as soon as snow was hitting the roads around 1:00 a.m. this morning in Rowan. In one incident in Salisbury, an SUV ran off the road and struck multiple trees.
To the north, near the 81 and 82 mile markers, there were at least two accidents involving vehicles that led to injuries. Two people were injured in an accident that took place near mile marker 76 near Innes Street.
Police continue to investigate these accidents and hope that many others will watch out for these harsh road conditions.
