The Salisbury Police Department arrived at the scene of the accident in the area of Lincolntown Road around 6 p.m. tonight. Police are still trying to locate a white sedan that now has extensive front-end damages and cracks to the windshield.

The victim was severely injured and taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
