Saluda, SC (October 31, 2018) – On Monday, October 29, one person died after a fatal collision around 11:25 p.m. The accident took place on Mt. Willing Road.

At the time, police say that the driver of a 2000 Chevy 1500 was heading east and crossed over the line, which caused them to strike a 1999 Chevy headed in the other direction. The driver of the 1999 Chevy was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Their identity has not yet been released.

The driver of the 2000 Chevy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but their name or condition is not known at this time.

Nobody else was injured in the accident. Police continue to investigate at this time.
