Sanford, NC (November 9, 2018) – In Sanford, a serious accident took place that caused serious injuries to one person on Thursday, November 8 around 6 a.m. in the morning.
At the time of the accident, the pickup truck had been involved in an accident, which caused it to travel off the side of the road at Colon Road. One of the male passengers was able to get out of the vehicle on his own.
The female passenger inside the vehicle was unfortunately pinned and had to be extricated. Upon doing so, firefighters and other rescuers found her unconscious. She was taken to the hospital for treatment and there is no other word on her condition.
Police continue to investigate how the accident took place.
