Savannah, GA (November 26, 2018) – A former Allegany County teacher lost their life in a multi-vehicle accident that took.

Savannah, GA (November 26, 2018) – A former Allegany County teacher lost their life in a multi-vehicle accident that took place on Interstate 95 on Sunday afternoon, November 25.

The teacher was identified as Lou Petronella, who was a longtime teacher who taught in Allegany County and Mineral County. His wife, Becky, was in the same vehicle and was injured and taken to the hospital.

Interstate 95 was closed for several hours while police investigated the accident. In total, they said that six vehicles were involved in the accident and four people were injured.

At this time, the investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
