Savannah, GA (August 15, 2018) – An accident involving a moped and a truck on Victory Drive Tuesday morning left one person seriously injured.
According to police, the driver of a Ford-F150, 78-year-old Gilbert Wentz, was attempting to make a turn from Victory Drive to Victory Manner. At the same time 60-year-old Arthur Gordon was traveling westbound on Victory Drive when he struck Wentz’s vehicle.
Gordon was seriously injured and taken to Memorial Medical Center to be treated. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those involved and we wish for a speedy recovery.
The incident is still under investigation.
