Savannah, GA (December 15, 2018) – The Traffic Investigation Unit in Savannah is taking a close look at a two-vehicle crash that led to life-threatening injuries to one person.

Around 7:50 p.m. yesterday, 27-year-old Paulina Corral was traveling north on Abercorn Street when it her vehicle suddenly struck a Jeep that just made a U-turn from southbound to northbound lanes.

The accident took place at the Lewis Drive intersection. Corral’s vehicle continued to travel north where it left the road and struck a tree.

Corral and her passenger, 39-year-old Samuel Padilla, were transported to the hospital for treatment. Padilla suffered life-threatening injuries.

The woman driving the other vehicle, 38-year-old Latasha Brown, was not injured in the accident.
