Savannah, GA (November 9, 2018) – In Savannah, a pedestrian accident took place in the early morning hours of November 8th and sadly took the life of the pedestrian. It was still dark outside at the time of the accident.
The Savannah Police Traffic Investigation Unit investigated the accident around 3 a.m. 54-year-old Dwayne Sutton was driving his Kia Optima on Montgomery Crossroads when he struck a pedestrian who was on the road at the time.
The pedestrian has since been identified as 34-year-old Ivory Winfrey. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition and later passed away due to his injuries.
At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
