Savannah, GA – Police Continue to Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Accident

Savannah, GA (December 13, 2018) – Police with the Police Traffic Investigation Unit in Savannah continue to investigate a fatal.

Savannah, GA (December 13, 2018) – Police with the Police Traffic Investigation Unit in Savannah continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian accident that led to a fatality.

Police say that the accident happened yesterday evening and involved a 32-year-old woman. Around 6:15 p.m., 59-year-old Cynthia Garnto had been driving her Toyota south on Middleground Road when she came upon the local intersection.

32-year-old Ryan Dennis started walking across the road and stepped directly into the path of Garnto’s vehicle. Dennis received severe, life-threatening injuries and died at the scene of the accident.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
