Savannah, GA (December 22, 2018) – Police say that a three-vehicle accident took place on Interstate 95 in the northbound.

Savannah, GA (December 22, 2018) – Police say that a three-vehicle accident took place on Interstate 95 in the northbound lanes due to the distraction of another driver.

The accident took place at exit 109. The Georgia Department of Transportation responded to the accident around 12:30 p.m. near the exit where they discovered a driver was distracted and rear-ended the vehicle in front of him, causing a chain-reaction.

One child was airlifted with head trauma following the accident. The names of those involved have not yet been released.

At this time, the Georgia State Patrol is in the midst of investigating the accident.
