Spartanburg County, SC (October 24, 2018) – Police say that a woman lost her life in an I-85 crash that happened in Spartanburg County. The two-vehicle accident happened on October 21 around 10:06 a.m., according to police.
Police responded to the area of Exit 78 on I-85. There, they found that 32-year-old Kellie Caples had been seriously injured. She was taken to SRMC for treatment, which is where she was pronounced dead by medical staff hours later.
At this time, the coroner’s office and SC Highway Patrol have taken over the investigation of the accident.
