Spartanburg County, SC (November 24, 2018) – On the morning of November 24, a man was identified after losing his life in a two-vehicle crash in Spartanburg County this week.

The accident happened this morning around 5:30 a.m. on Highway 101 near the area of Berry Shoals Road. The South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident.

They quickly determined that 25-year-old Daniel McCall was driving a 1998 Dodge truck south when it crossed over the center median and collided with a 1999 Nissan truck. 67-year-old Stanley Patrick was the driver of the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

McCall had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He was charged with DUI with death, driving under suspension, and more. At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
