Spartanburg County, SC (December 5, 2018) – The Spartanburg County Coroner announced that they have identified a Spartanburg woman killed.

Spartanburg County, SC (December 5, 2018) – The Spartanburg County Coroner announced that they have identified a Spartanburg woman killed in a serious fatal accident.

The accident happened this afternoon, December 5, around 4:00 p.m. Nobody else was immediately injured in the accident.

The woman was identified as Ruby Lee Martin of Center Street, who was involved in the accident at the intersection of the Asheville Highway and Monks Grove Church Road. Martin was pronounced dead at the Spartanburg County Medical Center around 4:30 p.m.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
