Spartanburg, SC (December 15, 2018) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident that took place last night, December 14 when the pedestrian was crossing the street.
Police say that a pedestrian was in the roadway at the time and was struck by a vehicle that was passing through the area. The pedestrian was found at the scene by emergency responders and immediately taken to the hospital in serious condition. The accident took place along New Cut Road.
At this time, police said that there is no known description of the vehicle, which immediately fled the scene after the accident happened. They believe that there is damage to the right front and passenger side.
