Spartanburg, SC (December 16, 2018) – In Spartanburg County, along New Cut Road near Old Settle Road in Inman, an accident took place on Saturday night. A pedestrian who was in the roadway was struck and seriously injured.

The car that struck the pedestrian sped off, leaving the injured man alone in the roadway until the South Carolina Highway Patrol and other first responders arrived at the scene. As a result, the vehicle, which may have damage to the passenger and front right side, has no official description logged and the authorities are still attempting to locate it. No further information on the injured man has been released at this time.
