Statesboro, GA (December 19, 2018) – A college student was seriously injured and almost left with deadly injuries following an electric scooter accident in Statesboro, Georgia.
Police say that Taylor McCullough was on a date with her boyfriend on an electric scooter. They had been trying to cross the street on the scooter when it was stuck by a vehicle. The vehicle was going over 50 mph when it struck them.
Taylor received multiple facial fractures, a broken nose, and a blood clot on her brain. The driver stopped at the scene of the accident but Taylor suffered for quite some time in the hospital recovering from her injuries. She is expected to make a full recovery at this time.
Police continue their investigation into the accident.
