Summerville, SC (November 28, 2018) – In Summerville this afternoon, November 28, two children were hospitalized and one person lost.

Summerville, SC (November 28, 2018) – In Summerville this afternoon, November 28, two children were hospitalized and one person lost their life in a cement truck accident. The accident took place on Jedburg Road in Berkeley County.

Police say that three vehicles were involved in the accident, including a cement truck and two motor vehicles. One of the vehicles crossed the center line, which caused them to strike the cement truck. The debris then struck a second vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that crossed the center line died at the scene of the accident. The two children in their vehicle were injured. 

The accident is still being investigated at this time.
