The accident happened in the area of Highway 176 and Alexander Circle. The deputy involved in the accident is okay but received injuries and was treated. The status of the other injured parties is not known at this time.

Videos were taken at the scene, which shows that at least three vehicles, including the deputy’s SUV, were damaged in the accident.

The accident allegedly happened when the deputy rear-ended another vehicle around 5:30 p.m. The cruiser ended up flying off the road and into a ditch.
