Thomasville, NC (November 29, 2018) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a serious car accident that took place in this afternoon in Thomasville. The police were called to investigate the incident, which took place at the intersection of US Highway 29/70 and Kanoy Road.
At the time, 53-year-old Susan Miller Medlin of Thomasville was stopped at the intersection and was struck on the driver’s side by Sabrina Bundy, who was in her Silverado at the time. The initial impact took place between the Silverado and the Maxima. From there, 76-year-old Dalma Rabon struck the Silverado in her own vehicle.
Susan Miller Medlin died at the scene of the accident. The other two drivers were rushed to the hospital with injuries but they are expected to survive.
At this point, the initial circumstances that caused the accident are unknown, and police continue to investigate.
