Thomasville, GA (December 8, 2018) – Police say that two people were left in critical condition following an accident at an intersection on Friday, and have been identified.

The accident took place at the intersection of Lower Boston and New Hope Road around 12:45 p.m. yesterday. The Georgia State Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident to find that a truck being driven by 47-year-old Kevin Cauley had been navigating a hill while a vehicle being driven by 28-year-old Marsha Singleton was traveling on New Hope.

Singleton did not come to a step at the intersection and went through it, which caused her to collide with the truck. Singleton had a passenger with her, identified as Ronald Thornton, and the two were both ejected from the vehicle.

Neither were wearing their seatbelts at the time. Both Singleton and her passenger were taken to the hospital to be treated for critical injuries.
