Travelers Rest, SC (November 12, 2018) – The Greenville County coroner investigated a serious fatal accident that took the life of one person this afternoon, November 12. The accident took place at Allen Road on Highway 25.
Police say that they responded to the incident around 5:10 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway. At the time, a small sedan had been driving north on the highway when it crossed the center line and was struck by a vehicle headed southbound. The driver of the sedan was the only person in the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 37-year-old Taqunia Vashalai Collins of Hendersonville. At this time, the Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
