Valdosta, GA (December 10, 2018) – On Saturday, December 8, a man was arrested after a vehicle theft led to a car accident in the 1800 block of West Hill Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft that happened on West Hill Avenue. The man in the stolen vehicle went up a one-way street, striking another vehicle and then fleeing the scene. Authorities came to the scene of the accident to find that one person received injuries in the accident.

30-year-old Joshua Washington was charged with theft by taking and a variety of other motor vehicle violations.
