Walker County, GA (December 24, 2018) – Police say that one person lost their life in a serious fatal crash and a passenger was airlifted in the same accident in Walker County.

The accident happened today when one person was struck by a vehicle and their car ran off the road, striking a tree. The accident took place on the Old Trion Highway.

The Georgia Highway Patrol investigated the accident. At this time, they are not sure what caused the vehicles to collide. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
