Wayne County, NC (December 17, 2018) – A two-vehicle accident allegedly took place at an intersection in Wayne County that happened at Carolina Lane and Sheridan Forest Road.

Police reported that, when the two vehicles collided, they ran off the road and down into a ditch. All of the people involved in the accident managed to get out of their vehicles, though injuries were reported.

Police say that four patients were immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. The North Carolina Highway Patrol investigated and determined that the accident happened when the red Ford heading west collided with a gray Ford that was also heading west.

At this time, the State Highway Patrol is investigating and charges are pending against one party.
