Whitemarsh, GA (August 20, 2018) – An accident Sunday evening resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening, police responded to an incident at the intersection of Mapmaker Lane and U.S. 80. An impaired driver struck a motorcycle being driven by 40-year-old Clinton Jones, who died as a result of the accident.
The driver of the vehicle, whose name has not yet been released, was charged with failure to yield, driving under the influence, and homicide by vehicle.
