Williamsburg, SC (December 9, 2018) – Highway Patrol came to investigate the scene of a fatal car accident that took place yesterday, December 8 just east of Kingstree.
The accident took place on the highway when two vehicles collided with one another. The Lexus involved allegedly crossed over to the eastbound side of the road and struck a pickup truck. Neither of the drivers involved have yet been identified.
The driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the truck, on the other hand, was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. At this time, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Police are trying to determine what caused the vehicle to cross the center line.
