Wilson, NC (October 20, 2018) – A wreck involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer closed off Raleigh Road Parkway for about eight hours on Friday morning just before 7:00 AM.

Wilson police officers and fire rescue personnel closed off the parkway at Hayes Road until shortly before 3:00 in the afternoon to clean up an unnamed leak that began emanating from the tractor-trailer. All parties involved in the crash sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment.

Traffic was detoured down Lamm Road while road crews worked to clean up the mess.
