Woodstock, GA (August 16, 2018) – An incident involving a motorcycle and an SUV happened on East Cherokee Drive Wednesday left one in serious condition.
Around 6 a.m., Deputies responded to a collision that took place at Tomahawk Trail just outside of Woodstock. An SUV operated by William Bartula, 66, was traveling west down East Cherokee Drive where he attempted to turn into a convenient store striking a motorcycle, driven by William Lunsford, 48, which was traveling east along the road.
Lunsford was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was not injured. The incident is currently under investigation. We hope Mr. Lunsford has a quick recovery.
