Woodstock, GA – Two Individuals Injured in Head-on Collision

Woodstock, GA (December 13, 2018) – On Thursday morning, police said that two people were injured in a head-on collision.

Woodstock, GA (December 13, 2018) – On Thursday morning, police said that two people were injured in a head-on collision that took place in the Hickory Flat community.

At the time, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office said that the accident took place on GA-140 around 10:30 p.m. when 71-year-old Michael Sargent was driving his vehicle westbound and suddenly crossed the center line. He crashed into a vehicle headed in the opposite direction driven by 66-year-old Danny Moulder.

Moulder was transported to the North Fulton Hospital, while Sargent was treated at the scene for minor injuries. He received a citation for failing to maintain his lane.

There were no other people involved in the accident and, at this time, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit continues to investigate the accident.
