Woodstock, GA (December 26, 2018) – Police say that two people were injured in a car accident that took place in Woodstock. Those involved have since been identified.
71-year-old Michael Sargent had been traveling westbound on GA-140 in Woodstock when, in the area of Jep Wheeler Road, his vehicle crossed over the center line and ran into an eastbound vehicle.
Sargent was treated at the scene; meanwhile, 66-year-old Danny Moulder, the driver of the other vehicle, was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. He is expected to be okay.
Police have since cited Sargent for failure to maintain his lane. The accident is still under investigation at this time.
