Charlotte, NC (December 22, 2018) – Central Avenue was closed down for quite some time after a car accident that led to a vehicle striking a pole, causing lines to hang down in the area.
The accident, according to police, took place in the 700 block of Central Avenue. Officers received a call around 5 p.m. about a two-vehicle accident that caused one vehicle to strike a pole.
Police confirmed that injuries resulted, but all parties are expected to recover from these injuries. Central Avenue remained closed tonight as crews worked to replace the broken pole in the area.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to this accident.
