Salisbury, NC (December 3, 2018) – On Saturday night, December 1, a fatal accident took place in which police have confirmed the death of a driver who was trapped in his vehicle. 

The accident took place on Jake Alexander Boulevard near Castlewood Drive around 7:45 p.m. One person was pinned inside the vehicle and required EMS to extract the victim.  Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away as a result.  None of the other drivers involved in the accident were injured.

The Salisbury Police Department is still taking a closer look at what caused the accident to occur and are investigating in full.
