Buncombe County, NC (October 29, 2018) – In Buncombe County, a motorcycle accident took place that led to the death of a motorcyclist along the Blue Ridge Parkway, according to police. The accident took place yesterday, October 28.
Police responded to the crash around 3:30 p.m. near the Tanbark Ridge Parking Overlook. A vehicle had been turning into the overlook parking lot when a motorcycle headed in the other direction struck the side of the vehicle.
The driver of the motorcyclist was killed in the crash. Nobody else was injured in the accident, according to police.
At this time, the investigation into the matter remains ongoing.
