Stephens County, GA (October 29, 2018) – The Georgia State Patrol was called to investigate the scene of a fatal.

Stephens County, GA (October 29, 2018) – The Georgia State Patrol was called to investigate the scene of a fatal accident on Sunday, October 28. The accident led to criminal charges.

Police say that one person was arrested on charges of vehicular homicide in connection to the serious accident. The woman was since identified as 26-year-old Amanda Renee Combs. She had been behind the wheel of her Jeep when she crashed near the intersection of Talmadge Drive.

The vehicle traveled off of the roadway and then went back across the road on the opposite side. The vehicle then struck a tree and overturned before it rolled back down the embankment.

There was a male passenger in the vehicle who died at the scene, but his name has not yet been released.

Combs also received injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Nobody else was injured in the accident, luckily.
