Bamberg, SC (October 28, 2018) – In Bamberg, a two-car fatal accident took place that caused the death of one person. The accident took place around 6:00 p.m. on Friday night, October 26.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol came to the scene of the accident on Ehrhardt Road. At the time, a 2001 Toyota Tacoma was traveling down the road while a 2000 Ford truck remained stopped at a stop sign on Orange Grove Road.
The driver of the Ford suddenly pulled forward, which caused the Tacoma to crash into the side of the Ford.
The driver of the Ford died at the scene. At this time, the victim has not yet been identified. No charges have been filed at this time.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
