Cherokee County, GA (November 28, 2018) – Authorities are still working on their investigation of a fatal accident that took the life of a 17-year-old and injured three others. We recently reported about the accident but now the teen has been identified.

Police say that, around 2 p.m. yesterday, the vehicle lost control on Old Orange Mill Road near Creekview High School after being struck. A 17-year-old was killed in the accident, who was identified as Stephen Smith.

The 17-year-old driver, another 17-year-old passenger, and a 15-year-old passenger were all seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Smith was described by his classmates as “a friend to all.” As of now, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
