head-on collisionDonalsonville, GA (October 3, 2018) – Three people lost their lives in a head-on collision in Donalsonville. Troopers responded to the accident yesterday morning around 11:53 a.m. on GA 91.

The accident happened close to the Miller County line. Police said that 62-year-old Kenneth Scarborough was traveling north in his GMC Sierra when he suddenly crossed the center line for reasons that are currently under investigation. He then struck an oncoming Kia Soul.

Scarborough died at the scene, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, who was identified as 74-year-old Paul Dukes. The last person who lost their life was a passenger in the Soul, identified as 75-year-old Annie Price. She was first taken to the hospital with serious injuries and later pronounced dead.

The roadway was blocked for two hours while police were working on clearing the scene.
