Effingham Co., GA (August 17, 2018) – A major wreck happened after three suspects fled the Effingham County Deputy and drove into oncoming traffic on Interstate 95. The accident took place Friday morning and all three suspects were injured.
The incident started when Effingham County Deputy stopped a Honda Civic because the deputy believed that the driver was wanted by police. The Honda fled the scene while the Deputy started checking their information and records indicated that two people in the car had arrest warrants. The chase started on Midland Road and the Honda sped through a 35 MPH zone and attempted to ram the deputy on multiple occasions.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office managed to stop the chase on I-95 South near exit 106. The driver and passenger of the Honda were transported for medical care, but did not receive fatal injuries. There is no other information on the charges or on the extent of the injuries to the third passenger, although officials claim that all three suspects should be ok.

We offer condolences to any injured or harmed during this incident.
When it comes to cases of negligence leading to a wreck, the driver responsible for the wreck acted under negligence and will have harder time obtaining compensation for any injuries sustained. However, any passengers who were injured in the crash may be eligible for higher compensation because the driver is the one responsible for keeping them safe. Hiring an auto accident lawyer is a great help in this kind of situation because filing a claim against a driver can require a lot of extensive work.
A lawyer will be able to collect any evidence of the injuries, medical records, and police reports to build a strong case in the favor of the client. If you are wondering if you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries, contact the Nye Law Group at (855) 636-9277 for free consultation.
