Greenville, SC (November 23, 2018) – Greenville, SC – Troopers arrived at the scene of a serious hit-and-run accident that took place on Wednesday, November 21 that injured a moped driver.

The accident took place around 6:40 a.m. in the morning in the 1500 block of South Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville. The accident took place when a moped driver was rear-ended by a vehicle that then fled the scene.

Police have not yet caught up to the driver responsible for the accident but they say that the driver was in a dark vehicle at the time.

The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries but is expected to be okay. Police continue to investigate the accident in full.
