Laurens, SC (October 24, 2018) – On Monday, October 22, a Gray Court man died from injuries that stemmed from a fatal accident in Laurens. He has since been identified.
Police say that 34-year-old Alan Johnson had been driving his 2006 Chevy pickup at the time on Fort Lindley Road around three miles away from Laurens when he suddenly became involved in an accident and struck a tree.
Johnson was quickly taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries while there around 8 p.m. Police say that he died due to blunt force trauma to the chest.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
