Lexington, SC (November 21, 2018) – In Lexington, a fiery car accident took place that took the life of one.

Lexington, SC (November 21, 2018) – In Lexington, a fiery car accident took place that took the life of one person in the eastbound lane of Interstate 20 yesterday, November 20. The South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the accident and identified one person who tragically lost their life.

The SCHP said that a vehicle crashed into a tractor-trailer at the time of the accident, closing down lanes for quite some time on Tuesday. The victim was then identified by the coroner as 65-year-old Alexander Buie.

Buie had been driving the tractor-trailer when he swerved to avoid the vehicle and him colliding with one another. The coroner said that the truck went to the right side of the highway, where it struck a tree.

The crash continues to be investigated at this time.
